C026 Jade Dragon Huang Disc (Length: 7.20cm)

Block-shaped body with carved horns (mushroom-shaped horns) behind the head, showing the pattern of the Chinese character "臣", one foot; this is a common feature of the dragon pattern in the early Western Zhou Dynasty. And most of them are plate-shaped, side-shaped. The dragon pattern of the Shang Dynasty carved a leg only to indicate that the dragon was adequate and could not help showing that it was not a legged dragon.
When explaining the word " Kui (夔)” in the book Shuo Wen Jie Zi, there was a sentence saying, "Like a god, like a foot of a dragon." Its relationship with a dragon, according to this sentence, "like a foot of a dragon", image Like a dragon, it has only one leg. Later generations said that it was a cricket based on the words "like a dragon with one foot," and some people called it "Kui dragon."
